Our customer-proven silver plating process is superior to cyanide silver plating in the following areas:

  • It plates without a separate brightener additive.
  • An additional advantage is that a separate strike plate is not required on copper or brass as with cyanide.

It is superior to other non-cyanide processes because:

  • It is cost effective because it plates out of the silver anodes rather than the solution.
  • The silver plating anodes do not polarize - it has excellent anode corrosion.
  • It plates substantially faster than other processes.
  • It is an easy-to-maintain solution with single maintenance additive.
  • It has exceptional throwing power.
  • Bath stability.

Functional electronics can be used for Silver Plating; however, this product should not be used for decorative uses such as jewelry.

E-Brite 50/50 silver plating is supplied as a liquid concentrate that is used at 50% by volume in deionized water. The E-Brite 50/50 liquid concentrate contains 4 oz. per gallon of silver. Therefore, the 50% working bath will contain 2 oz. per gallon silver. The process is plated at room temperature using silver anodes. The bath is replenished by adding E-Brite 50/51 electrolyte to the bath as the silver anodes are dissolved.
